ALTHOUGH it is often referred to as C[pounds sterling]alternativeC[yen], natural therapies have been around for centuries.

CQ Natural Health Centre owner Sheryn Woof said the ancient tradition was popular among Gladstone residents with her centre always busy.

C[pounds sterling]We will probably need to upgrade with more therapists,C[yen] Ms Woof said.

Offering a wide range of natural therapies themselves, Ms Woof said along with other businesses in town Gladstone residents had a good variety to choose from.

She said her clientele, some of whom had been regulars for 20 years, proved to her that natural therapies worked.

C[pounds sterling]The results are what shows and people keep coming back,C[yen] Ms Woof said.

C[pounds sterling]If you get new people it's very rare they don't come back.C[yen]

She said, in her opinion, no health system was complete without natural therapies as an option.
