How to Be a Link in Supply Chain
ADVICE for businesses on how they can win contracts in major industry supply chains will be given at a series of free workshops.
The workshops, held by Middlesbrough Council in partnership with Business to Business, will highlight the opportunities in the construction, defence and marine, energy and rail and transport industries.
The sessions, open to businesses from Middlesbrough and the surrounding area, will tackle key issues in the industry and look at how businesses can develop their competitive edge to win business from supply chains.
All sessions will be hosted by procurement specialist Garry Stone who has helped numerous North-east businesses win new supply chain contracts.
The project is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The workshops are: Construction Industry - Tuesday, February 28, 9am-12.30pm at Middlesbrough College.
This workshop will guide businesses towards accessing the supply chains of future major projects. Speakers include Middlesbrough College, Compete North East and Balfour Beatty.
