EVER wanted to learn to make chocolates?

Award-winning Eumundi chocolatiere Louisa Raven will explain the history of chocolate while teaching the basics of how to temper the sweet delight.

The second-generation Dutch chocolatiere offers a hands-on, 21/2-hour class at its factory where you can take your creations home.

The class costs $115, or $95 for senior citizens and $75 for children aged 12-16 years.

Classes, with a maximum of 10 people, will run on February 26 at 2.30pm, March 12 at 4.30pm and March 25 at 2.30pm.

Cake decorating

CAKE decorating has taken off on the Sunshine Coast.

How To Cook, at Cotton Tree, attributes more than a third of its turnover to cake decorating stock, up from nothing in 2005.

It's so popular that How To Cook has launched an online shop this year so people can buy their cake-decorating supplies online.
