HUGE SALE

YES, we have moved and settled into our new office, but now is the big clearance sale of office furniture and items from the old office of The Chronicle at 618 Ruthven St (just south of St. Luke's). The doors will be open from 9am to 1pm today and entry via the main entrance only.

Drop in and check it out.

SUNNY TUNES

SUMMER Tunes and sunny days will see gatherings in our parks tomorrow. From 10am to noon at Queens Park catch up with four piece group Topp Gear with face painting; from noon to 3pm Jim Miller Big Band will pump out big tunes from Picnic Point bandstand; the Toowoomba Municipal Band plays to all styles in Laurel Bank Park while in the Newtown Park a State Rose Garden, Twee as Folk will help keep the Monday blues at bay.

GRAND PARADE

THE community of Clifton is on for the 101st show today and tomorrow.

The farmers are celebrating with their displays of livestock, sheep dog championships and grand parade at 2.45pm today with side show alley a big hit for the young at heart. Tomorrow the fun continues with the pet parade scheduled for noon.

ANTIQUE LOVERS

IT'S A big weekend for antique and collectable lovers.

Today and tomorrow the annual Antique and Collectable Fair and Exhibition will be open at the Founders Pavilion at Toowoomba Showgrounds, today 8.30am to 4pm and tomorrow 8.30am to 3pm.

Competitive exhibitors from all over Australia, valuers on site. While at St. Luke's hall today from 8am to 4pm, Gordon Lee Antiques will also hold an antique furniture and collectable sale. Have a breather and enjoy a sausage sizzle or Devonshire tea while checking out the treasures.
