THE Capricorn Coast has the highest number of solar power systems per capita in the country, and these two men in front of the camera are responsible.

For more than two years, Rhodes Watson and business partner Martin Carlin have spent tireless hours researching and developing a model to purchase and install solar power units in bulk to save money. It started as community groups involving more than 400 people and has grown to become Watt Else, a sustainable social enterprise dedicated to educating the community about solar power, reducing power consumption and purchasing systems in bulk from local suppliers to save money. …
