GARAGE BREAK-IN It was very upsetting - much dismay, Not the best way to start your day.

Went to the garage. It''s not far, To go to work, in my car. No courtesy light, when put bag on floor Then couldn''t open the up and over door.

I''ll sort them tonight - no distress, Sat in my car and discovered the mess.

Various items were strewn all around, Receipts, papers lying on the ground. And what was this robber''s goal, Sunglasses and loose change is all he stole. Night-time thieves left newly cashed, Me, with my garage door smashed.

Police came along and were very good, Insurance people said they understood.

It left me glum for the rest of the day, But, I''ll 'deal with it'' as the young people say.

W A SHAW, Newburn WHAT IS BEHIND THE MASK Why do you keep a mask in a jar Do you not want people to know who you are Why don''t you be real and let friends know how you feel No one else can be you Don''t go around looking so blue Why are you so afraid to love After all we all sinners by God's standard Our maker loves you as you are No good deeds can make him love you any more Embrace this truth and move on It is no good being fixed on the outside, if your heart is broken on the inside Let our God repair you from the inside out You have got to believe in our God above He will fill you with his love Do not let your heart be full of greed or hate That will only stop you receiving what God has for you Appreciate what you have and throw away the mask You are beautiful as you are Follow your heart and you will get a new start EDDIE BAKER, Cramlington
