McCabe Poised to Return for Brumbies

WALLABIES centre Pat McCabe may find himself on the wing when he makes his long-awaited return from injury for the Brumbies on Saturday.

Brumbies backs coach Stephen Larkham hinted yesterday that McCabe might be eased back on the flank in the match against the Cheetahs at Canberra Stadium, and youngster Jesse Mogg could go from wing to replace injured fullback Robbie Coleman.

McCabe (pictured) admitted he was already feeling some nerves going into his first match since last year's Rugby World Cup, where he dislocated his shoulder and subsequently underwent surgery.

He was meant to return in an ACT XV match against Tonga last weekend during the Brumbies' bye week, but that clash was cancelled due to poor weather.
