Speaker to Inspire in M'borough; Sunrise Rotary Club to Host International Guest for Educational Evening

MARYBOROUGH will play host to another international guest tomorrow night, when Tanzanian school teacher Kim Saville returns to Australia.

Ms Saville, a teacher at the School of St Jude in Africa, will travel to the Fraser Coast as part of a trip arranged by the Maryborough Sunrise Rotary Club to spread awareness about education in third world countries.

Event organiser Lisa Waterson said the event would give people the chance to learn about the work of different organisations overseas.

aKim is the deputy director of the School of St Jude in Tanzania,a Ms Waterson said.

aThey work with children of all ages, and teach the reading and writing skills. Their work is really inspirational.a

Ms Waterson said Ms Saville would be speaking about her work at the school during a special event at City Hall tomorrow night. aShe is going to speak about the development of the school,a she said. …
