Relief funds

CENTRAL and north Queensland cities will receive disaster relief funding from the State and Federal Governments this week.

Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery arrangements have been activated for Gladstone, Rockhampton and Cairns regional councils, after heavy rain and flooding. Deputy Premier and Community Safety Minister Jeff Seeney said the total damage costs for all three council regions was yet to be confirmed.
