YOUTH Connections North Coast (YCNC) has recently employed Daniel Moses and Lisa Doherty to facilitate an exciting new program called C[pounds sterling]Our Village RocksC[yen] for young people aged 10-18 living in isolated small communities in and around the Nimbin, Tuntable Falls and Billen Cliffs areas.

The project is funded through the NSW Government and aims to provide an opportunity for our young people to shine by building pride and celebrating a positive identity through the development of leadership skills, positive relationships and a sense of belonging in our community.

A school holiday program is running these holidays and includes: beach visits, bushwalking, ten pin bowling, hip hop, music production workshops and cultural activities.

During school term on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday in Nimbin, there are a range of free after-school activities for young people aged 10-18 years from 3.30-6pm including hip-hop workshops, music recording, mural painting and gardening. …
