IT WAS perfect weather for C[pounds sterling]poochC[yen] walking on Saturday, attracting a large crowd of pet enthusiasts and their canine companions to the Ted Price Park in Gracemere. Canines of every different shape, size and breed Co some rather questionable Co thoroughly enjoyed the walk and socialisation at the Ted Price Park which has an C[pounds sterling]off leashC[yen] area.

C[pounds sterling]It was a most enjoyable day for families,C[yen] Cr O'Brien said. She said she was pleased with the roll-up and was looking forward to holding more of these events.

Old timedance

QRI will hold an old time/new vogue dance on Saturday night. Music will be by Cliff's Computerised Old Time/New Vogue Dance Music. Dancing goes from 7.30Co11.30pm. For more information, call Cliff on 4938 1860.

Forum forseniors

THE Australian Pensioners' and Superannuants' League, Central Queensland Zone would like to invite all pensioners and superannuants to an open meeting/forum to be held at the Gracemere Community Centre, in Barry St, Gracemere on Monday, April 30.

Seniors are invited to morning tea at 10am with the forum to commence at 10.30am. Several members of the AP and SL management committee will travel from Brisbane to address the gathering on matters which concern us all and will be open to questions.

Matters that concern seniors are the prospects of moving into retirement homes, rising costs Co so come along and add your say to the discussions.
