Craig Miller's U.S. Senate campaign brought in $68,369 during the most recent quarter. That number was bolstered by $30,100 in loans he gave the campaign, according to finance reports filed this week.

He is running for the newly drawn 6th Congressional District, which is likely to include St. Johns, Flagler, Volusia and Putnam counties.

Miller trails Ponte Vedra Beach lawyer Ron DeSantis, who announced a $227,000 quarter, and Jacksonville City Councilman Richard Clark, whose campaign said he brought in $182,000 over the first three months of the year.

Those numbers came in news releases. Reports for DeSantis and Clark, both Republicans, are not yet available on the Federal Election Commission's website.

The other GOP candidate officially in the race is St. Johns County School Board member Bev Slough, who filed this week. State Rep. Fred Costello, R-Ormond Beach, said he is running but has not yet filed paperwork with the FEC.

Navy veteran Heather Beaven, who ran for Congress in 2010, is the race's lone Democrat. …
