STRATHEDEN-based trainer Rob Andrews produced a winning double in the first two races at the Casino greyhound meeting last Friday.

High Court ( Elite State - With Integrity) improved on its debut third the previous week with a strong win in a 411m maiden.

Beginning well from box six, High Court reeled in the early leader Dayseas Jade in the middle stages before going on to score in 23.65 seconds.

Hot Charm produced the second leg of the double in taking out a 5th grade (411m).

Making full use of box two, Hot Charm (Paddy's Flame - Zymurgy Charm) tracked the leader Shamad mid-race before moving away to score in 23.47s.

Also scoring a winning double was Queensland-based but much- travelled owner/trainer Norm Bradford.

The consistent Surf On Tap (Surf Lorian - Perusa Gain) kept her unbeaten record over the 484m at Casino with a strong win in a non-graded race (484m).

Beginning well from box two, she had to fight hard to hold her spot on the first turn when challenged by Bralyn Strips and muscled her way clear mid-race before holding off a late challenge from Black Dolce with Bralyn Stripes holding on for third. …
