AMONG the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on April 24 were: Ian George Gregory, 55, of Bevanlee Road, Middlesbrough, fined pounds 110 with pounds 65 costs for using a vehicle without insurance and driving without an appropriate licence.

Terry David Myers, 21, of Emerald Street, Middlesbrough, given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay pounds 75 costs for being drunk and disorderly.

John Paul Sargeant, 25, of Maltby Street, Middlesbrough, ordered to pay pounds 100 compensation for assaulting a police officer.

Chris Devlin, 20, of Violet Close, Norton, fined pounds 200 and ordered to pay pounds 165 costs for dropping litter.
