IT'S A SHOW steeped in more than 700 years of Spanish history and culture.

El Caballo Blanco, the dance of the white stallions, is a show touring regional areas for the first time after success in the capital cities.

It displays the magnificence of the horses and their ability to perform jaw-dropping tricks.

Head trainer is Rene Gasser, whose family has been working with horses for six generations.

aThey are traditional movements. They've all been developed for warfare and would have been used by riders in the saddle. If foot soldiers surrounded a horse, then the horse would jump in the air and kick out,a Mr Gasser said.

aIt's amazing, because our horses are not your average horses in the paddock. They're like something you see in a movie. There's lots of wows. You can hear the crowd go mad.a

El Caballo Blanco is a whole package with not only horse performances, but traditional flamenco dancers, guitarists and beautiful costumes, all from Spain.
