Roman Just Can't Stop Bossing Things

CHELSEA have become a far more attractive proposition to a prospective manager given their recent resurgence but the signing of Marko Marin should serve as a warning there remains only one boss at Stamford Bridge.

Marin is a fine addition to the Blues squad. The 23-year-old may miss out on Euro 2012 this summer due to a season blighted by injury but he is a versatile and creative player in the mould of Juan Mata.

There are those at his current club Werder Bremen who nickname him 'the German Messi' -- a popular moniker sometimes attributed to fellow tricksters Mario Gotze and Mesut Ozil -- but while he has yet to earn a place alongside Barcelona's finest, his potential is undeniable.

Whether Marin can adapt to the Premier League's pace and physicality remains to be seen but the signing in pure football terms is a positive step towards the muchneeded transition that is still required regardless of former boss Andre Villas-Boas's departure. …
