TOOWOOMBA Clydesdales coach Dean Bosnich is optimistic about the chances of his team at this weekend's Central Division 47th Battalion Trophy Carnival in Bundaberg after a slick training session.

The Clydesdales left for Bundaberg yesterday and before leaving, Bosnich said he was impressed with how his squad came together at an opposed training session against the Clydesdales under-20s on Wednesday night at Gold Park.

Representative teams can sometimes struggle with structured attack as they boast players used to different plays and tactics. But Bosnich thought his squad was well along in terms of building up combinations. …
