a[approximately]YOU'LL never know if you don't give it a go' has been a motto Yeppoon singer Jasmin Griese has stuck to. And it's paying off.

The 20-year-old took the plunge to launch her music career by starting with Google and searching for producers to record a song.

aI just stumbled across producer Josh Travers' details on Google and we started sending emails to each other; then I went to Brisbane to record for three days,a Griese said.

aI definitely didn't think I'd get to release a song from it, I just thought I'd get a lot out of the experience, but it was all so much fun.a

She worked on Imaginary Lover with Brisbane producer Josh Travers from Alchemix, which was then mastered in New York and released on iTunes in early March.

aThe experience was so strange because in Yeppoon you don't have these kinds of opportunities and for a small town girl it's been a great experience,a she said. …
