Reds Rush Troops Back for Leaders

RUGBY UNION: The stakes are high but Queensland Reds coach Ewen McKenzie had no hesitation in rolling the dice.

Prop Ben Daley has recovered from a hamstring strain and has been thrust straight back into the starting line-up for the all-important showdown against competition leaders the Chiefs at Suncorp Staduim tomorrow.

Flanker Beau Robinson, who was sidelined with a fibula injury, is also back but will start from the bench..

The inclusion of Daley and Robinson are the only two changes made from last Sunday's narrow loss to the Crusaders in Christchurch with an unchanged starting backline representing just the second time this season that Reds have fielded the same line-up from nine to 15 on consecutive weeks.

The Reds will run out this week with vice-captain Will Genia at number nine and Ben Lucas at 10, Digby Ioane and Dom Shipperley on the wings, Mike Harris and Anthony Faingaa in the centres and Luke Morahan at fullback. …
