MANY of us would remember Casper the Friendly Ghost and it would seem that one Rose City business has its very own live-in spirit.

Haunting the former Globe Hotel but not hurting a soul is an unknown patron that once enjoyed a cold brew and a smoke.

Globe Accounting co-director Pauline Pickering said the ghost had been seen and smelt.

C[pounds sterling]We had a client at our front counter one day and she said to us, CyYou know you have a ghost and he's standing right there on the stairs',C[yen] Mrs Pickering said.

C[pounds sterling]I have never experienced him myself but two of the girls Co Dale Brodrick and Erin Davis Co vow and declare that they would smell stale beer and Log Cabin tobacco every now and then.

C[pounds sterling]He seems to be quite friendly, though, because he hasn't given anyone any trouble. …
