GLADSTONE teams had good results from Round 5 of the Central Queensland Premier League.

Central coach Dave Longden said his team was able to maintain its undefeated streak at home for the season against Cap Coast.

Despite the scoreboard reading 3-2 at the end of the game, Longden said it was not a close match.

He said going into the second half Central were winning 2-1, but scored within the first or second minute to lead by two points.

He attributed the good game to set moves they had been working on, which paid off on the night and also the depth of the squad to compensate for a number of injuries.

The win puts them at third on the competition ladder, but Longden said he was unsure where they would be after Round 6 as they had a bye this weekend. …
