Tigers Keen to Show Their Claws in Attack

AFTER an intensive week for Westlawn Tigers first grade football team (three games in a week with a win and two losses) the Tigers travel to Ayrershire Park Boambee to tackle the Bombers tomorrow.

The biggest danger for the Tigers will be complacency, if they go into this match with anything but the utmost respect for the youthful Bombers this game is a potential banana skin.

The Bombers are rebuilding after the exodus of some of their senior players and they are a very young side.

They are only going to improve on recent results and any side that takes them for granted does so at their peril.

The Tigers ground out a result against Woolgoolga last week, but have a few niggling injuries and won't be settling their starting line-up until the morning of the game.

The Tigers have a 50% record so far this year with three wins from six games and will be looking to improve the win loss ratio at the expense of the Bombers.

They defended extremely well last week and are now looking to improve their effort in the attacking third. …
