HALL of Fame jockey Jim Cassidy hopes to add another Group One to his list of a92 or 93a in tomorrow's $400,000 Queensland Oaks over 2400m at Eagle Farm.

Cassidy has enjoyed a great run with boom filly Sea Siren during the Brisbane Winter Carnival, the pair taking out the BRC Sprint at Doomben before handling the step up to Group One company in winning last Saturday's Doomben 10,000.

The Kiwi rider will leg up on the Chris Waller-trained Scorpio Queen in the Oaks, the filly listed at $7 on Tattsbet behind favourite Quintessential.

Scorpio Queen goes into the race having won the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet over 1800m on a heavy track before a strong third behind Oaks rival Invest in the Group Three The Roses over 2000m at Doomben on May 19.

Cassidy told racenet.com.au the fact she had been set for the Oaks gave him confidence she would be very competitive tomorrow. …
