Close Call Prompts Warning about Kids on Sarina Streets

KIDS roaming the streets in Sarina and surrounding areas are a serious concern.

Residents are alarmed at the increasing number of teens wandering the streets at all hours of the night.

Tara Creek man John Taylor said he and his wife had a close call last week.

It was a frightful end to what had been a nice trip to Sarina when they almost hit a group of young teenagers walking along Range Rd in the dark.

Mr Taylor said it was only a matter of time before someone would be seriously injured.

C[pounds sterling]We were coming from the Sarina Art Extravaganza on Friday at about 8.30pm when I yelled out to my wife (who was driving) Cystop, look out',C[yen] he said.

C[pounds sterling]They (a group of teens) were walking along in the dark with no high-visibility clothes on.
