THE two mates, Roy and Merv, are still painting and in their second exhibition at the Botanic Gardens Lagoons Gallery, the artworks relate to Mackay's 150-year history. Their exhibition showcases some of the familiar historical buildings, landmarks and industry of Mackay from its earliest days till now. Come along and see how many buildings of Mackay you can recognise; buildings which are still being used today. The exhibition will be complemented with some historical photos of Mackay. The Botanic Gardens Lagoons Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 4pm.
