ADAMSON (Blyth). Formerly of Elsdon Close. Peacefully at home on June 6th, aged 78 years, after a short illness surrounded by her family Elsie (nee Isaacs), dearly loved wife of Peter, much loved mam, motherinlaw, nana and great nana of all the family and a dear sister of Howard. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium on Thursday June 14th at 11.30am. No flowers please by request, donations in lieu of flowers if desired for Cancer Research c/o Tom Woodhouse Funeral Director, 64 Park Road, Blyth, NE24 3DN, Tel. (01670) 352000.

MATTHEW (North Shields).

Peacefully at home on Thursday 7th June, aged 70 years, Valerie (Val, nee Yule), dearly loved wife of Peter, a loving mother of Helen and Janet, and a dearest gran of Rowan and Olivia. A private cremation will take place at Tynemouth Crematorium followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Columba's U.R. Church, Northumberland Square, North Shields on Friday 15th June at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be sent for Oncology Day Unit or Macmillan Nurses, c/o E. Turnbull & Son Funeral Directors, Albion Road, North Shields, NE29 0HE, or a donation box will be available at the church.

McMANNERS (Low Fell). Dr. Joseph McManners of Low Fell, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years on Thursday 7th June 2012. He will be greatly missed. Please meet for Funeral Service at St. Helen's Church, Low Fell on Friday 15th June at 12.45pm, followed by interment at Saltwell Cemetery at 1.30pm. No flowers at the family's request.
