FORMER Lismore City flanker Dominic Morris will play his first game of the season against his old club in Far North Coast Rugby Union at Maurie Ryan Oval, Lismore, this afternoon.

Morris has joined his older brother Keith at the Southern University Gold Rats after playing in Townsville this season.

The pair played all their rugby at Lismore City before this season.

C[pounds sterling]He is pretty close with his brother and it's a handy pick-up for us,C[yen] Gold Rats coach Matt Barlow said. C[pounds sterling]Keith came across at the start of the season and they already know most of the guys.

C[pounds sterling]Dom is on uni holidays and we hope to have him for at least the next month and again next holidays.C[yen]

Morris has represented Far North Coast and could be exactly what the Gold Rats need to drag themselves off the bottom of the ladder.

They will have to do it without flankers Rhys McNaughton and Harry Witt, who are away today. …
