DAN Beahan loves his rugby league, but after working a long day he doesn't feel the need to chuck on a representative jumper.

As captain of the Wallabys Beahan he commits as much time as he can to the game, but he said there was no incentive to play a one-off rep game.

C[pounds sterling]There needs to be something in it for the players,C[yen] Beahan said.

And he should know.

Beahan said he put his hand up for a one-off game last year and all he ended up with was a dislocated hip which forced him to miss playing in the local league.

C[pounds sterling]It's hard to say if they can give a cash bonus to rep players but it's something they should look at,C[yen] he said.

In terms of the rest of the season Beahan said although the Wallabys would also have played for double points, the outcome of Wednesday's meeting was positive. …
