MAIN ARM make-up artist Cassie Hanlon has stepped out from behind the scenes to take an on-screen role in the I Will Survive reality TV program that will air from next month.

The 48-year-old former model has worked on numerous productions in her more than 25 years in the entertainment industry, including acclaimed movies like Star Wars, Two Hands, Narnia and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

But as the head make-up artist on the lavish new Channel Ten program, Cassie will also be seen interviewing each contestant as she spends up to 11/2 hours transforming them into outrageous draq queens.

The program searches for a triple treat a singer, dancer and actor a who will ultimately land a role in the blockbuster Australian musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert on Broadway, as well as $250,000 in cash.

aI was a bit nervous at first but I got used to it,a Cassie says of her step into the limelight.

The mother of one believes the program is unique and hopes it will strike a chord with Australians. …
