AMONG the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on July 23 were: Lee Cameron, 31, of Newington Road, Middlesbrough, fined pounds 240 with pounds 100 costs and banned from driving for 12 months for drink-driving.

Peter Anthony Duffy, 30, of Ringwood Road, Thorntree, Middlesbrough, given a 12-month community order with 150 hours' unpaid work for handling stolen goods.

Philip Rodney Simpson, 36, of Cliff Crescent, Loftus, fined pounds 380 with pounds 65 costs for driving without an appropriate licence and using a vehicle without insurance.

Joanne Smith, 34, of Albert Terrace, Middlesbrough, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay pounds 40 costs for assault and theft.

Andrew Telfer, 51, of Aire Street, Middlesbrough, fined pounds 300 with pounds 100 costs and banned from driving for three years for drink-driving.

Elaine Dane, 48, of Norwich Road, Redcar, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay pounds 85 costs for producing a Class B drug.

Liam Foster, 19, of Marshall Avenue, Middlesbrough, banned from driving for 12 months, given a 12-month community order with a 16-week curfew requirement and 100 hours' unpaid work and ordered to pay pounds 100 compensation and pounds 85 costs for drink-driving, failing to stop after an accident, using a vehicle without insurance, driving without an appropriate licence and aggravated vehicle taking.

Jonathon Kevin Douglas, 23, of Cresswell Road, Middlesbrough, given a 20-week jail sentence suspended for two years with a supervision requirement and 100 hours' unpaid work, ordered to pay pounds 500 compensation and banned from driving for two years for handling stolen goods, driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.

Raymond Harrison, 48, of King Street, Middlesbrough, given a six-month community order with a supervision requirement and ordered to pay pounds 40 costs for possessing a Class B drug and breach of a conditional discharge. …
