Brian Quinn, 33, Southmead Avenue, Blakelaw Stole four cans of lager from Nisa, Newcastle, on March 18. Sentenced to a four-week curfew and ordered to attend drug rehabilitation after pleading guilty.

Syed Alam, 31, Hartington Street, Elswick Found guilty in his absence of driving in Fawdon without insurance on April 18. Given six points with fines and costs of pounds 645.

Craig Duffy, 24, Scarborough Road, Walker Smashed the rear windscreen of a car in Byker on March 4. He must pay fines, costs and compensation of pounds 165 following a guilty plea.
