RUGBY LEAGUE: CQ Capras captain Tim Glasby gained good fortune at this week's judiciary.

However, despite his star forward receiving no penalty for the incident, it failed to placate coach John Harbin, who said the officials spoiled Saturday's match with Burleigh Bears.

C[pounds sterling]He got off the charge, as did the Bears forward (Brendan Lawrence) who was sent off,C[yen] Harbin said.

C[pounds sterling]What is disappointing is it was a game of 20 penalties, a sending off and a player on report.

C[pounds sterling]Last week we gave away one penalty but this week we had conceded four in the opening 15 minutes. I think officials need to realise what the paying public come to see. They want to watch a game of footy.C[yen]

Harbin said the previous week's match had been a similar style of game, but was handled differently by the men in the middle.

C[pounds sterling]I'm not disappointed in the judiciary,C[yen] he said.

Even though Harbin might be disappointed about last weekend, he is already talking of the coming game at Tweed Heads on Sunday.

The Tweed is one of the top teams in the Intrust Super Cup but has suffered a few reversals in recent weeks.

Harbin said there had been a good reason for those losses, with most of them returning to face the Capras this week.

C[pounds sterling]The Titans are fully fit again and that means they (Bears) will be getting a couple of players back,C[yen] Harbin said.

Another influential footballer returning for Tweed is experienced halfback Brad Davis.

There is no point in being upset about the players an opponent is able to select and, as always, the coaching department has more concern about Capras' team selection.

Bustling forward John Clayton has the opportunity to make it back into the Capras 17, but a lot will depend upon himself. …
