Isaac House Prices Are on the Move

HOUSE prices in the Isaac region are on the move.

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland's June quarterly report revealed the median price of a house in Isaac Co $590,000 Co has increased by 33.8% since June 2011 but fallen by 16.1% for the quarter.

While Moranbah recorded the biggest increase for the Mackay region over the year Co jumping 50.1% Co it also experienced losses of 5.3% for the quarter with the median house price $710,000.

House prices in the Mackay area remained steady at $425,000 over the June quarter, increasing by 2.9% over the year.

Mount Pleasant was the biggest winner in the area, with a median price of $517,500 Co up by 20.6% for the quarter.

Rural View experienced Mackay's biggest losses this quarter, with house prices dropping 10% to $478,000.

A solid performer over the June quarter was Bucasia, which recorded median house price growth of 8.1% to $467,500. …
