FOOTBALL: With finals football more of a dream than a reality for the Cougars, the talented side is finally delivering the kind of results coach Joe Fenech has wanted all season.

Not only did the side travel to the south-east Queensland and tick up all three points from the QSL match against bottom-placed Gold Coast, but the 3-0 score meant the Cougars were successful in achieving their second clean sheet of 2012.

But Fenech said there were two disappointing aspects.

Firstly his captain Dylan Kussrow collected a yellow card and with it a two-week suspension, and the team didn't score more than three goals.
