Mourinho Tells Premier Clubs They Must Do the Chasing

JOSE MOURINHO insisted today he will not chase a job in the Premier League, no matter how much he wants to manage here again.

The Special One said it would be up to clubs to impress him if he is to return to a job in England, where he won five trophies with Chelsea before being sacked in 2007.

Last season Mourinho was linked with both his former club and Tottenham and the Real Madrid boss has long been seen as a potential successor to Alex Ferguson at Manchester United when the Scot eventually retires. Manchester City's Abu Dhabi owners would also look to Mourinho when Roberto Mancini leaves the club.

The 49-year-old knows he will be in demand once his spell at Real is over and spelt out today what it will take to get him.

"I will go where people really want me and, when that moment arrives, they show me they really want me," he told BBC Radio Five Live. …
