I WAS amused to see the letter from Aidan Stewart (N/S 18/8) claiming his Metgasco company Lexus was avandaliseda. I was amazed the headline stated it as a acar attacka.

Readers might wonder why Mr Stewart failed to specify what damage was done to his car. Did we envisage dented body panels, deep score marks, slashed tyres? No such thing was apparent. I have photographic evidence of the avandalisma, which was an innocent yellow aLock The Gatea plastic triangle propped on the front bumper bar. Must have been difficult making a police report, justifying this acriminal acta.

My photo was taken at the time and date specified by Mr Stewart, outside the (wrongly named) restaurant in Keen St Lismore. I know this because at the same time, I was attending my husband Simon Clough's campaign launch of a[approximately]Our Sustainable Future' at Goanna Bakery across the road. While I did not place the yellow triangle on the car, nor did anyone on Cr Clough's team, I appreciate the irony and support the action. …
