ELLEN-May CyNelly' Boswood reckons the old grey mare C[pounds sterling]is not what she used to beC[yen].

But anyone who was at the Depot Hill State School library opening would certainly disagree.

The 92-year-old is the oldest living former student of the primary school. She took a trip down memory lane, visiting the school for the official ribbon-cutting.

C[pounds sterling]I think I was always the first person through the gate,C[yen] she told the young pupils at the opening.

C[pounds sterling]I was so eager to be at school and I hope you children appreciate the same too.C[yen]

Mrs Boswood enrolled at Depot Hill in 1926 Co just six years after the school opened.

Her children were also enrolled there, and one of her daughters works there as a cleaner. …
