ANOTHER night of Thursday Europa League football closely followed by Premier League action for Newcastle - at least this week the Toon have an extra day to prepare before Aston Villa roll into town.

Paul Lambert has not endured the best start to the season with the Midlands club and there is nothing in the recent history of this fixture to suggest anything will change for him. Villa have failed to win on Tyneside in their last five League visits scoring only twice with their best result being a 0-0 draw.

Shay Given will be back between the sticks on familiar territory and he may need to produce a vintage performance the likes of which we have witnessed in the past. But if you think he will be picking the ball out of the net with no reply, then why not look at Newcastle to win 2-0 at 5-1, 3-0 at 12-1 or, for the more adventurous, 4-0 at 33-1. …
