IT WAS a hectic but rewarding weekend on September 1-2 for Grant Smith with seven auction listings for the Century 21 selling principal and another for Tony Dunne of the sales team.

First off the mark at 11am was 15 Callicoma Pl, Maroochy River, a six-bedroom house on 0.7ha which drew four registered bidders. Unfortunately it was soon passed in but believing in the process, within 10 minutes the vendors had signed up for another three-week auction campaign, this time declaring their reserve, an option which Grant believes will bring him the buyer.

On to Tanawha and 3 Waterloo Ct was also passed in but Grant is excited about the post auction list price of $649,000.

At 2pm it was the auction of the last two developer's units at 2 Box St, Buderim. Otherwise known as Essence on Buderim, Grant offered apartment 24, a three-bedroom penthouse which was sold for $330,000 after Melbourne investors flew in and inspected on the day.
