THREE teams are sitting on six points in Division One after two weeks of the season.

Ashington RAOB, who have made a seamless transition from Division Two, defeated Village Inn Longframlington 7-0. Lenny Lansbury recorded a hat-trick with one goal each for Carl Sayer, Rob Groves, Scott Dunn and James Lovat.

The Buffs now have a twoweek break, next up for them a home game on September 23 against last season's all-conquering Amble Tavern side.

That should give an indication as to whether a title challenge is likely.

Stobswood recorded their second victory, overcoming Morpeth Chantry 2-0 thanks to efforts from Steven Gibbard and Robert Baker.

Completing the trio of teams are Pegswood Ex, who logged an impressive 8-1 success over Stakeford Half Moon courtesy of hat-tricks from Mark Dewitt and Ashley McAlpine and solitary strikes from Stuart Marshall and Sean Henderson.

The Half Moon consolation came from Chris Dobey.
