Circus Train

The Workshops Rail Museum, North St, North Ipswich

IMMERSE yourself in the magic of the circus at this special Workshops children's event.

Friendly ringmaster and clown characters will entertain attendees with tricks and stories.

There will also be hands-on activities and a circus memorabilia display.

Circus Train places a focus on the historic link between travelling circuses and the Queensland rail industry.

Entry costs $20 for adults, $11.50 for children aged three to 15 and is free for children aged under three.

Family passes are available and tickets can be purchased at the gate.

CATCH up with former and current classmates, parents and friends at the school's official birthday party.

Chat over devonshire tea or a barbecue lunch.

A cake-cutting and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque will take place at 11am.

Attendees can browse historical displays, purchase a memento or centenary book, and children can enjoy rides.

Lego art show

THIS fascinating exhibition features large mosaics made entirely from Lego pieces.

Lego Brickworks features nine artworks by prominent designers.

Handmade Expo

The Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Rd, Bundamba

Today, 8ama2pm

UP to 100 stalls of quality handmade and hand-grown products will feature at today's market.

There will also be free kids' activities on offer from 9.30a11am, including lessons from Ginger Sport.

The Swanbank Pioneer Steam Train will offer rides throughout the day for a small fee.

Attendees can purchase midday meals and coffee from food vendors.

Entry to the market is free and there is free parking on site. …
