Coach: Marvin Lewis.

Career record: 71-75-1.

Last week: Beat Washington 38-31.

Offense: 8th (391.7 ypg).

Defense: 29th (416.7 ypg).

Offensive leader: Quarterback Andy Dalton has made a couple of curious decisions throwing the ball this year, but his team is 2-1, and his numbers are among the best in the NFL. He ranks fourth with a 105.0 passer rating and is completing 68.4 percent of his throws. A plus for him is having a target like A.J. Green, who already has 21 catches.

Defensive leader: In his first 47 games, defensive end Michael Johnson had 12.5 sacks. Then last Sunday against the Redskins, he had a career game with three sacks, seven quarterback hits, one pass breakup and six tackles. Johnson has four sacks this year. Cincinnati has 11 sacks through three games, including three by Geno Atkins.

Coach: Mike Mularkey.

Career record: 15-20 (1-2 with Jaguars).

Last week: Beat Indianapolis 22-17.

Offense: 30th (268.3 ypg).

Defense: 28th (412.3 ypg).

Offensive leader: All it took was Indianapolis' defense to get running back Maurice Jones-Drew untracked. He gained 177 yards - the second-highest total of his career - and got the Jaguars back in the game with a 59-yard TD. Jones-Drew's total of 314 yards through three games trails only Kansas City's Jammal Charles (323).

Defensive leader: Safety Dwight Lowery played the whole game against Indianapolis and still hasn't missed a snap this year. Lowery contributed two tackles and two pass breakups in the win over the Colts and has 12 tackles according to league statistics. Lowery will need to be on-point against the Bengals' fourth-ranked passing offense.

Each Monday, Jaguars beat writer Ryan O'Halloran answers five "Monday Morning Quarterback" questions that were posed after Sunday's game.
