IF the look on the faces of 30 kids was anything to go by, renowned national coaches Mark Bell and Scott Wisemantel really hit their mark at a two-day rugby union course at the Lennox Head Sport and Recreation Centre.

The kids were exhausted but overjoyed after a non-stop immersion into rugby on Thursday and Friday.

Regarded as among the best coaches in the world, Bell and Wisemantel have been involved in coaching teams such as the Wallabies, Waratahs, Reds and a number of international and provincial rugby squads overseas.

C[pounds sterling]We taught them a few new ways to approach their training and playing and all of them were keen to learn and soaked it all up,C[yen] Bell said.
