SCORES for the past couple of weeks have been consistent with the northerly wind that has blown most afternoons with early morning players fairing the best in the winners' circle.

On Saturday, September 29, Peter Sharp's 69 saw him win on a countback from Michael Hogan in the A-grade.

Sharp's eagle on the 11th hole was the feature shot of the day.

Peter Loft continued his great run of form with the best net score of the day (66) from Mick Gruber (68) taking out B-grade. Paul Drewett won C-grade from Ian Wood-land with a score of 67.

Last Thursday, with some tees moved well forward, Ben Boswell beat Rob Edministon in A-grade with 43 points on a countback.

Jamie Butler couldn't be outdone by his wife Joy, who won the women's competition, edging out Gerry Warr by one shot in B-grade and visitor Nathan Fletcher liked the course and scored 42 points.

Scores were low for our September Monthly Mug, especially for our morning players. …
