ON YOUR BIKE: This month experience the joy of riding a bike along Jetty Beach at low tide, which is just one experience now offered by Coffs Ambassadors Tours.

NOVEMBER is a great month to take a free Coffs Ambassadors tour and discover Coffs' best-kept secrets.

This month there are six tours on offer across the Coffs Harbour City Council area:

1. Experience the tranquillity of rainforests at Bruxner Park.

2. Bird watching at Moonee Beach (new).

3. Stepping back in time on the Harbour History Walk (new).

4. Spotting sea turtles at Look At Me Now Headland, Emerald Beach (new).

5. Exploring Jetty Beach and surrounds by bicycle (new).

6. Stretching your legs on the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk at Korora.

Coffs Ambassadors tours is an innovative program run by Coffs Harbour City Council, which is helping the community, and in turn visitors to the region, to learn more about the biodiversity of the local area.

Since the program began in 2010, 13 volunteer Coffs Ambassador tour guides have taken more than a thousand residents and tourists on year-round interpretive tours of bushland, beaches and rainforests. …
