MR. and Mrs. Warren John Lentfer were married in St. Matthew's Church of England, South Grafton. She was formerly Miss Carmel Mary King, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. King, of Cambridge street, South Grafton. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Lentfer, of Duke street are the parents of the bridegroom. Miss Shirley Philp was bridesmaid. Flower girl was Debbie Collins. Best man was Mr. Dennis Lentfer.

GRAFTON city experienced a sharp hail storm in recent days when extremely large, jagged hailstones swept a path across from South Grafton to north. Twenty-one points of rain were recorded in the storm. Greatest havoc occurred in the Lilypool district on Monday. Some of the jagged hail was the size of tennis balls, cutting a path of destruction from the Railway Hotel on the Armidale road, across Lilypool and the State Forest. Cattle owned by Mr. J. J. Hewitt had suffered severely. Quite a lot were pitted by hail, and were bleeding.

IN reference to your editorial of November 12, I regret that our boat was operating on Sunday while the Remembrance Day services were being held on both sides of the river. …
