DRUGS LIVE: THE ECSTASY TRIAL Channel 4, 10pm One imagines that if any TV programme were to carry the caveat of "don't try this at home", it's this one. Presented by Dr Christian Jessen and Jon Snow, this revealing documentary really does do exactly what it says on the tin - the hosts invite a range of volunteers into a controlled environment where they will take MDMA (the purest form of Ecstasy). They will be monitored, of course - scientists David Nutt and Val Curran are on-hand to explore the effects.
