Men Fined for Breaches

TWO men who each pleaded guilty to breaching a domestic violence order were punished in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court yesterday.

A 25-year-old Bundaberg man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a domestic violence order and one of breaching a bail condition.

Police prosecutor Barry Stevens told the court that at 8.30am on October 6 police attended a home in Bundaberg after complaints were made of shouting and banging.

While the police were standing at the door they heard the man say C[pounds sterling]You'd better look at me or I'll punch you in the headC[yen].

When police entered the house they saw eight holes in the walls which they believed had been caused by punching and a broken mirror.

The man was arrested.

He was released with an order he have no contact with his partner.

On November 4 at 7.15am police received a 000 call and when they arrived at the man's partner's address she told them he was there and had headbutted her. …
