GET to your barrier and be ready to race to Corbould Park Racecourse this Saturday for the inaugural opening day of the Sunshine Coast Bazaar.

With an expected 150 market stalls showcasing their wares from fashion and handcrafted jewellery to locally produced cheese, the new market place is destined to attract thousands of people while also helping out local charities.

Event organiser Will Murphy from All Star Events said social justice was an important aspect of his business and tried to give back to the community as much as he could.

C[pounds sterling]Entry is free, but there is a voluntary gold coin donation and when you give a donation you receive a Sunshine Coast Daily newspaper,C[yen] Will said.

C[pounds sterling]One hundred per cent of the donations collected at the door will be given to the Make a Wish Foundation and the Give Me Five for Kids charity.C[yen]
