THE owner of the Mystery Craters Co the natural attraction at South Kolan Co has inadvertently created another mystical marvel.

Positioned just off the formation of the craters is what Ron Dodds has now dubbed Misty Lake.

Mr Dodds said he created the magical effect of Misty Lake accidentally while installing misters in his lake.

C[pounds sterling]I was standing on the bridge and I turned around and saw a beautiful rainbow,C[yen] he said.

A movement detector turns on an automatic pump linked to an underground pipe. Water comes out of the pipe and into the misters.

Mr Dodd says this, combined with a sunlit backing, creates the rainbow.

C[pounds sterling]If the sun is shining and with the sun behind, you look at the mist on the lake and youCOll see a beautiful rainbow,C[yen] he said.

C[pounds sterling]If you look at the bottom lake (the lake furthest from Mystery Craters) you will see the rainbow. …
